What is Google My Business
and how does it work

Google My Business (GMB) is an online business directory that lets you manage how your business appears on Google Search and Maps.

Creating a Google business account lets your company show up in search results when people are looking for products or services near them, so it's a crucial element of Local SEO.

GMB allows you to create a special Google list of detailed information about your company or its every location which is called Business Listing. It contains the location's address, contact data, photos, posts and other options to both help customers find your business and tell them your story.

According to where you search, your business listing may appear in 2 varieties: Google Knowledge Graph and Google Maps, all of which offer high online visibility for local searches.
GMB is free, which makes it an affordable marketing tool for small and big businesses alike. The only requirement for using it is that you must have some face-to-face interaction with your customers.
